Travian and Anquenetta Smith BIOGRAPHY
Travian D. Smith and Anquenetta Cash Smith joined holy matrimony on July 14, 2001 at Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church. The couple is very much involved in several ministries at the church and has a passion for working with the youth by providing leadership and guidance. Both Travian and Anquenetta accepted Jesus Christ at a very young age. God has really blessed the couple’s marriage and encourages others to pursue a personal relationship with God. Their primary focus is supporting one another and raising Godly children.
The son of Deacon and Deaconess Willie and Patrice Smith, Travian attended J.O. Johnson High School, in Huntsville Alabama where he graduated in 1995 with a 3.57 GPA and lettered in basketball for 4 years. He received a full basketball scholarship to the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) where he finished his career 6th on the All-Time scoring list with 1,193 career points. Travian received many individual accolades during his tenure such as All-Gulf South Conference First Team, Most Valuable Player, Mayor’s Cup MVP, and League’s Defensive Player of the Year. Travian holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Organizational Management. After college, he had several offers to play basketball professionally in countries such as Germany, Switzerland, and Italy. Travian is currently employed by FPMI Solutions, a government contractor where is a Human Resources Generalist.
The daughter of Michael Sr. and Lois Cash, Anquenetta attended J.O. Johnson High School and graduated in 1995 as well. A native of Birmingham Alabama, she pursued a career in Early Childhood Development which she holds an Associate Degree in. She owned and operated her own business (Building Blocks Child Daycare) from 1997 until 2006 which she provided care for ages newborn to 5 years of age. After a successful business career, she decided to pursue other career opportunities. She is currently employed by Qualitest Pharmaceuticals as a Management Analyst. The couple resides in Madison, Alabama and has 5 children: Deasia, Shenell, Trevian, Senise, and India. In their spare time, the couple enjoys family outings with the children but always make time for themselves for romantic get a ways.
